Nitin Anand brings 20 years of experience in the travel and tour industry. Born in the culture-rich state of Punjab in Northern India, Nitin spent his childhood in many different cities, collecting sound knowledge and understanding of the region. He specialises in high-end rail tours, such as the Indian Maharaja & Great Rail Journeys, through the scenic landscapes and interiors of India. Arrive at the first destination of your journey, Delhi. Spend the evening interacting with your tour expert, Nitin Anand, who will brief you about the upcoming journey over dinner.
Enjoy a walking tour of the city, accompanied by volunteers from the Salaam Baalak Trust – mostly street children who will take you through the city while narrating their life-transforming stories. Later, visit Humayun’s tomb – a stunning example of Mughal architecture, built by the emperor’s wife Begai Begum.
Drive to your next destination, Agra and in the afternoon visit the Agra Fort, where you are taken through the chambers of this royal residence. Agra Fort is one of the finest forts built by the Mughals in India.
Start your day by visiting the iconic Taj Mahal, the mausoleum built by emperor Shah Jahan for his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Next, drive to Jaipur and en route enjoy lunch at a resort and a “jugaad” ride – an open truck popularly known as The Village Mercedes – through the nearby farm lands.
Spend your day taking a tour of the city. Visit a royal family of Jaipur and interact with the family as you are taken through a demonstration of cooking authentic Rajasthani delicacies, followed by dinner.
Drive to Pushkar, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Check in to your tent and enjoy lunch. In the evening, take a camel cart ride to the Pushkar mela (fair) ground.
*Note: Please note, only vegetarian meals are served in Pushkar and there is no liquor served as Pushkar is a religious place for Hindus.
Take a hot air balloon ride over the mela (fair) ground, for panoramic views of the extravaganza. Ride down to the grounds in traditional style on camel carts, every morning and evening, and enjoy various activities like camel racing, kite flying, tug of war, and even a “longest moustache” contest. On the second evening, perform a Puja ceremony and visit the local market
Drive to Sambhar, approximately 1.5-hour drive. Learn about contemporary Indian salt production as you take a trail down India’s biggest inland salt lake. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride.
Start your day early and spend the morning bird watching, by the lake. Later, drive to Delhi, an approximately 7-hour drive and spend your evening at leisure.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to onward destination.

Due to any unforeseen circumstances, if any airline opts to cancel / withdraw their flight operation(s) on particular sector(s) their liability is limited to the 100% refund of the airfare charged for the particular sector(s) and do not stand responsible for re-routing or re-booking seats on any other airline. In such events / situations, Creative Travel Pvt. Ltd. will try best to work out most suitable alternative option to make our guests travel and all applicable supplement(s), if any, to be borne by the guests / passengers

BOOKING
1.25 % of Journey cost to be paid at the time of booking
2.Remaining payment to be paid 70 days prior to Journey
3.If booking is made within 70 days of the journey, full payment is required to confirm the Journey
4.Payment can be made by bank transfer or through Creative's online payment gateway
CANCELLATION
1.Upto 70 days prior to Journey - 10% cancellation fee shall be applicable.
2.Between 69 - 50 days prior to Journey - 25% cancellation fee shall be applicable
3.Between 49 - 31 days prior to Journey - 50% cancellation fee shall be applicable
4.Less than 30 days prior to Journey - 100% cancellation fee shall be applicable
NAME CHANGE
1.Accommodation: Free of cost upto 72 hours before arrival
2.Flights: A fee of US$ 55 per person, per sector shall be applicable along with any change in the ticket fare.
3. Trains: A fee of US$ 5 per person, per sector shall be applicable.
The journeys are planned well in advance. We reserve the right to modify itineraries, substitute accommodations, including flights and trains, at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control such as
'force majeure' events - flood, fire, act of God, war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, strikes, airport closure, technical problems with transport, alteration or cancellation of scheduled travel services. Most of the changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date but occasionally there could be a major change closer to the departure date.
We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. For example, if the minimum number of guests required for a particular travel arrangement is not reached, we may have to cancel it.
In both conditions of change / cancellation, you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements or cancelling your booked holiday and receiving a full refund deducting the taxes except where the major change/cancellation arises due to reasons of force majeure. In case of force majeure, we will refund you for all unutilised services after deducting taxes.
This journey also includes a Bollywood tour, where you can learn all about the glamourous Indian film industry, what goes behind shooting a film and the traditional Bollywood dance moves.
